"Herring Cove" is a 26/28mm shave brush handle. This handle can be made either 26mm or 28mm by request. (Currently 26mm) This spectacular piece is made with Yellow Cedar Burl. YCB is very rare due to cedar burls not growing very big in size and their demand due to the amazing figure in the wood. The wood is stabilized through a lengthy process of drying to get the natural oil out of the wood before stabilizing. We paired this piece with a swirls of blues and whites to give an ocean wave effect as though the water were washing onto a beach.
